Microblading

Microblading is a technique that uses a manual tool called a microblade. This blade is dipped into pigment to create hair-like strokes that mimic growth and density, giving you the most natural-looking brow tattoo.

What type of client is microblading good for?

This technique is great for clients who have normal to dry skin, small pores, non-problematic skin, but doesn’t work as well for clients that have combination or oily skin. If you have oily skin, enlarged pores, rosacea, acne scarring, mature skin, thin skin, this technique may not be the best option.

How much does microblading hurt?

This technique is a 3/10 for pain. It has very minimal discomfort. Numbing gel is used after the base strokes are applied. Some clients feel it compares to cat scratches.

How long does microblading take?

The total book time for this service is 2 hours. This gives us time for the actual service and a briefing of the necessary aftercare.

Powder ombré

This technique is also called microshading, ombré, powder, shading, pixel, etc. Essentially, this technique uses a permanent makeup machine, which is very similar to a tattoo machine, to insert tiny dots of pigment into the skin.

What type of client is powder ombré good for?

This technique works for all skin types, and is the main technique we recommend for oily/combination skin, as well as mature clients. The pigment can be as dense or soft as you want, and can be executed to look natural despite the fact that there are no hair strokes. 

How much does powder ombré hurt?

This technique is a 1/10 for pain. It's has minimal discomfort. Your brows are pre-numbed, and a secondary numbing gel is applied after approx 5 minutes.

Combination

This technique has the best of both worlds! If you like the look of hair strokes, but you also love the density of powder brows, you can combine the two for a hybrid look. We'll determine the right ratio of hair strokes to ombré.
